Aw, aren't they cute... they started out as friends and now they're getting married.

Pete tells US Magazine how he followed her around while she kept in the "friend zone" for one year, but Ash clears it up nicely for us, "we were friends with benefits". Always a lady isn't she? Now he'll never be able to get rid of her.

"I was in the 'friend zone' with her for a good solid year," he told L.A. radio station 98.7 Tuesday. "I spent a long time in the 'friend zone.'"

"I'd be calling her and following her around like a puppy dog," he said about courting his pregnant fiance before they started dating officially in 2006.

"The first time we really hung out she flashed me," Wentz recalled.

"I lifted my dress over my head," Simpson joked.

Now, "I get a look [from her] every time I don't say fiancee," Wentz said.

They are getting married in a secret location this Saturday.

It was Tony's birthday Saturday night and Jessica celebrated her boyfriend's 28th birthday by serenading him at Suite. Jessica sang "Happy Birthday" where she fed him his clever blue star-shaped cake with his number "9" on it, followed by champagne and dancing reports People.

"She licked cake from his face as everyone cheered them on. It was quite a spectacle," says one club insider. "But they looked really happy together. Jessica had blue icing all over her hands and mouth and Tony was laughing."

That will be all the singing we'll see from Jessica. She can go back into relationship oblivion until football season starts up again.

In other loosely talented Simpson news, Ashlee appeared on Leno last night where she gave a very sub par performance.

Since Ashlee is just sitting on her tour bus, she had time to post a "response to the false rumors" regarding her new tattoo and her intoxication.

I'm sitting on my bus heading to Tampa, FL. I have been on a promo tour. It has been a crazy hectic schedule. Early mornings for radio and late nights playing club shows. It's been a lot of work, but I have great people with me so it's been a lot of fun! I just wanted to address the rumors from a couple days ago at a morning radio show. It was very upsetting to hear that people are saying that I was intoxicated when I came in for my morning interview. I take my work very seriously and would never disrespect anyone and come into an interview that way. Here is the honest to God truth and this is for none other then my fans:

The night before I had a good friend come to my hotel to give me a tattoo. When I arrived to the radio station I showed them the tattoo I got the night before. It is my belief that they automatically assumed that because I got a tattoo I must have drank that night. I would never get a tattoo after drinking nor would a reputable tattoo artist do a tattoo after someone was drinking. When I walked into the radio station I was thrown into the interview. They didn't even introduce themselves to me before starting it, and just put me on the air. I felt bad energy and like I was about to be attacked as soon as I sat down. I felt uncomfortable. I'm sure you all have heard the interview so there is no need for me to sit here & tell you everything that was said and asked. As you may have noticed, I was asked mostly personal questions which are never fun to be asked and therefore I giggled my way through it. If you listen to other interviews I've done, you'd know I giggle a lot. Not only because I am a happy person & everyone who knows me knows I laugh all day long, but also I giggle when people ask me uncomfrotable questions not knowing what to say or what else to do. Questions & false rumors about my dad being a jerk, being pregnant, being engaged, etc are not fun to answer every single day. Eventually I try to just laugh them off and hope they start asking me important questions about my album and music which is why I am there. Five minutes after the interview was over I heard the dj that interviewed me say on the air that I was drunk. That really upset me especially after how uncomfortable they made me feel. Twenty minutes after that I went to XM Radio for an interview. They treated me with respect and were thankful for me showing up so early in the morning. I told the DJ there what had just happened and he said he wasn't surprised at all. The XM DJ said he used to work at that radio station and that he does things like that to people all the time trying to make a "story" out of it. He hated it because he did things like that to people all the time.
Throughout my career, I have learned that you must speak up for yourself when people try to put you down. That is why I am writing this today. I'm tired of people making things up about others. Again, this is for my fans. You are what is important to me.

Okay Ash, we understand, you have the ability to make hideous choices, stone-cold sober. That explains a lot, like for instance, Pete Wentz, that hazardous hair color and that obnoxious "I'm trying to be like Amy Winehouse" tattoo.

I hate to break it to you, but it's not working. You're just not cool. And for that "reputable tattoo artist".... well, I've got news for you, he's no friend. No good friend would do that someone.

It's best you go with being completely intoxicated. Doing drunk things completely sober doesn't win you any points, it just makes you look like even more of dolt.

This poser was the biggest camera hog douche that kicked off Ashlee's show following their breakup. Looks like he's trying to snag another 15 minutes.

Yesterday Ashlee Simpson shot her video for her dorky new single "Out of My Head (Ay Ya Ya)," produced by Timbaland.

Ashley was asked to describe the video to Billboard.com,

"One of my favorite artists is Salvador Dali. You'll see a little bit of that surrealism in it. There's a bit of 'Being John Malkovich' in there too. It's a little out there," she says with a laugh.

"Out of My Head (Ay Ya Ya)" goes to iTunes and other leading digital retailers on Tuesday. Like a good percentage of the new album, it was produced by Timbaland, who tapped into Simpson's love of '80s music when crafting the material.

"There's definitely influences here and there from it, but it's definitely not a full-on '80s record," Simpson says.

"There's a pop/rock element as well," she notes, pointing to songs like "Never Dream Alone" and the sassy "Rulebreaker." Elsewhere, "Murder" will feature a rap from Gym Class Heroes member Travis McCoy.

"I've never gone into a room and worked with somebody who puts a beat on and you start going," says Simpson, who also worked in the studio with Kenna and the Neptunes' Chad Hugo. "It felt like somewhere to go with the record where I'd never been."

Simpson plans to decide the album title over the holiday break, but is already looking toward her return to the live stage. "I want to do like a smaller club tour first," she says. "Probably around February, we'll be back."

Following the footsteps of another famous singing "Ashlee"; Ashley Tisdale followed up her lip- syncing debacle with a nose job. She was so reluctant to have the nose job that she could hardly sleep for a week prior to the surgery.

The High School Musical star confirms to PEOPLE that;

"Growing up I always knew I had a deviated septum on the right side of my nose, which caused trouble breathing," a bandaged Tisdale told PEOPLE on Monday from her Los Angeles home. "The older I got, the worse it got. I went to get it checked out, and the doctor told me the septum was 80 percent deviated and that I had two small fractures on my nose."

On recuperating, the 22-year-old says:

"I'm not feeling great today. It's uncomfortable and I hope this is the only time I ever have to go through something like this."

In an attempt to make her surgery seem less desired Ashely says, "I was completely scared. I wasn't looking forward to the surgery at all. I actually had trouble sleeping for a week before."

A role model for young girls, Tisdale says she's not an advocate for plastic surgery and wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Yeah, unless they had a big nose, like her.

"I didn't do this because I believe in plastic surgery. I did this to help my health. I literally almost could not breathe out of the right side of my nose," says Tisdale, who's openly discussing the procedure because "I want my fans to know the truth. I'm not someone who is going to act like I had nothing done. I just want to be honest because my fans are everything to me."
