Things got heated on The View, as usual, Elisabeth Hasselbeck was running her fat mouth about Obama and his relations. Sherri fired back at her with a sharp and juicy response about McCain and how he left his wife, Carol Shepp, that had been waiting for him, all of his years as a POW. Here's the story.
Barbara Walters did what she could to tone the ladies down saying that the past should be the past.
It's Joy's birthday and she just wants a cake. Happy Birthday Joy!
Things Went Down On The View

Finally, today on The View, Barbara Walters put her "boss hat" on and forced an answer out of the mouthy Republican counterpoint, Elisabeth Hasselbeck. Babara pointed out that no matter the topic, if it's Republican Elisabeth will fight for it without reason, by saying, "Every single day you never ever say, maybe there's another point, so this is your chance. Tell us now why you think that Sarah Palin would make a very good President."
Elisabeth was totally put on and fired back at Barbara, asking her why she thought Obama would be a good president. When pushed, she finally delivered some half-ass answer about McCain being qualified because he has lead a brigade. What ever!!! Why is war and fighting all they can think about? ...And Barbara didn't ask why McCain would make a good president.
Anyhoo, she laughably used Sarah Palin's gaffe from last night's interview with Katie Couric, when she called her state a "microcosm of America".
The ladies of The View discussed the sluttiness of Miley Cyrus.
Miley is now saying she is embarrassed by the photo. She should be, not only is the suggestive photo a bad idea, she looks like pure shit.
She wants to play like adult, she'll get slammed like an adult.
What do you think?
Excellent 3 part interview with Barack Obama and all the ladies on The View.
He covers Jeremiah Wright. In second interview Whoopi asks Senator Obama what the first three things are that he’d do in office. Obama replied that he would start withdrawing the troops from Iraq, and doing his best to make sure it was done in a safe and fair manner for both the troops and Iraqis. He said he didn’t think the Iraqis were going to take responsibility for their own country as long as American troops were there. Obama said the second thing he would do is work on getting healthcare for every American, and even went so far to say that for people that didn’t have healthcare, the government would offer plans similar to the healthcare he has as a senator. He pointed out how important it is to return to a focus on preventative health care, which over the long-term saves costs. Finally he said he’d deal with America’s energy crisis, focusing on developing new technology to lesson our reliance on foreign oil.
He has really embraced Hillary's health care plan.
It really was an excellent detailed interview.
Osama called Babara Walters and gave her a couple of statements about Britney. He told her that she was seeking psychiatric treatment and dished more goss, which she shared on The View today.

The opinionated, right-winged Elizabeth Hasselbeck, co-host on "The View", will begin maternity leave Nov. 8 or 9, according to a spokesman for the show.
This will be her second child with husband, Arizona Cardinal's NFL quarterback, Tim Hasselbeck. Lucky for "The View", the baby is expected the same week as 'Sweeps' week. I'll be tuning in for the first time since Rosie's departure... just to boost the ratings in her absence.
