Drugs are great. They open your mind and allow you think outside the realm of possibilities, conducive to creating great music, abstract art and plans, plans you could never have imagined would work when sober.
Blake Fielder-Civil has been accused of perverting the course of justice or "trial tampering". Days before he was set to face a British Judge for badly beating a bartender on the charge of grievous bodily harm with intent. He thought to pay off the victim, £200,000 to change his story.
The plan was to fly the victim to Spain before the hearing on Monday in hope the story would collapse.
The alleged plot was apparently caught on video by the national newspaper using covert cameras. Perverting the course of justice carries a maximum life sentence.
