The value of the night was in Amy Poehler's rap, where she blasted Sarah Palin for hunting moose, her foreign policy experience, her geeky husband and the age of her running mate. We always find Amy to be a little over-rated, but she brought it last night.

As you probably already know, Sarah Palin has no rhythm.

Stay tuned after the clip to watch Bill Mahr's Religulous - looking forward.

Tina Fey has done an incredible job at spoofing the Rep VP, Sarah Palin. Sarah Palin claims to have an impression of Tina Fey, herself, so SNL just might allow her to share that with America, on the Weekend Update, on their new Thursday night show schedule.

And what would she do to imitate the comdedian? Well good question, it's not like Tina Fey has a particular accent, or a specific thing she says, because she's a comedian! Her job is to impersonate other people, so they are considering giving Sarah Palin the role of Tina Fey in the American Express comercials. Sound funny? Not at all.

Tina is not giving political VP speeches, so why have Sarah do Tina's job? Of course their ratings are higher than they have been in years. The Palin skits have even beat out Justin Timberlake's "D**k in a Box skit. "

Don't sell out SNL... you just got your audience back.

"We ask ourselves, what would a Maverick do and we do that!", Tina Fey nailed her spot-on impression of the VP candidate Sarah Palin, again on SNL last night. Queen Latifa played the part Gwen Ifill, pimping out her new book.

I'm so glad Tina hit on Sarah's ineffective use of words, that's gets me more than the "Joe Sixpack", winking, Alaska namedropping, and over-use of the word "there".

Just in case you missed SNL this weekend, Tina Fey got her again. As long as Sarah Palin, the Republican candidate for VP, keeps saying stupid things, SNL will again have ratings.

This time Amy Poehler played Katie Couric satirizing the interview with Sarah Palin on the topic of foreign affairs, where the Palin character was asked, specifically to discuss how she would facilitate democracy abroad, Tina Fey answered with:"Katie, I'd like to use one of my lifelines. ... I want to phone a friend."

Priceless! We could not have summed up the CBS "deer in headlights" interview better ourselves.

For Taylor...

Tina Fey and Amy Poehler have a new movie, Baby Mama... how absolutely stale. It looks horrid.

Why drag the predictable bore Amy Poehler in as supporting actress?

Tina's smart, but the same old shit is getting tired.

C'mon Tina, step it up!

Tina Fey working that mouth.

Members of the Writers Guild of America on strike in NY and LA, among them, Tina Fey picketing NBC headquarters in New York.

Film and TV writers resolved to put down their pens and take up picket signs after last-ditch talks failed to avert a strike. The writers are fighting for residuals, DVD profits and revenue from the distribution of films and TV shows over the Internet . The strike is the first walkout by the writers in 20 years, which lasted 22 weeks and cost the industry more than $500 million.

The shows that will be affected by Monday due to the strikes are "Late Night with Conan O'Brien", "Tonight Show with Jay Leno" and "The Late Show with David Letterman" and will be playing re-runs.
