There are so many conflicting stories about Jamie Lynn Spears pregnancy. Some tabloids are soey 101aying she's 3 months pregnant, some say 6 months. Also the there are reports that Casey is the father and other's are saying it may be a producer of Zoey 101. Hmmmm, scandalous, indeed!

Jamie Lynn told OK! Magazine that she was just 3 months pregnant and they have more details suggesting that she's much further along. It's been reported on the news that she’s more than just three months’ pregnant as she claims and that it is suspected that her on-off boyfriend Casey Aldridge is not the father. It's also been reported that the pregnancy may be the result of an inappropriate relationship with an older producer on her show Zoey 101, and that he could be the father of her baby.

Star reports that the boyfriend Casey is cheater and was fooling around behind Jamie Lynn’s back and may have even fathered another young woman’s baby while he was dating her.

The National Enquirer also reports that Casey is a cheater, and says that Jamie Lynn is due on March 7, which would make her six months’ pregnant, not three as she claims. At first Lynne Spears didn’t want her to have the baby and that abortion may have been suggested. Supposedly it was Casey who talked Jamie Lynn into keeping the baby:

"Jamie Lynn Spears’ baby is due March 7 - and an ultrasound shows that it’s a girl, the Enquirer has learned exclusively. And while her mother demanded she not keep the baby, Jamie Lynn refused - and how the 16-year-old has set her heart on marrying the baby’s father, boyfriend Casey Aldridge", a close source reveals.

Determined to have her way, Jamie Lynn threatened to run away, marry Casey, who’s 18, and go live with her big sister Britney, said another insider.

Lynne, 55, dropped her demand, but she’s suspicious of Casey’s motives, sources say.

“Lynne doesn’t believe Casey loves Jaime Lynn, even though he wants to marry her. She thinks he got Jamie Lynn pregnant on purpose for money and the fame of being the father of her baby,” said the source.”

Spears, father of Britney and Jamie Lynn, refused to spend Christmas with Jamie Lynn and mother Lynne Spears because of Mom's decision to to sell photo rights to OK! Magazine of his teenage daughter's baby:

Let's see, you got 3 kids, 2 of which have worked since they were small children and seem to take care of themselves.. sorta and support mom, so what's so difficult about a grown man having to support himself. Did Jamie Lynn's Boyfriend Break the Law?

FOXNews reports the Internet is abuzz with the question: Since Jamie Lynn is 16 years old, does that make her a victim of statutory rape?

If Casey is indeed the dad-to-be, and the blessed event took place in Jamie Lynn's home state of Louisiana, then the act could be classified as a "Felony carnal knowledge of a juvenile," defined as "sexual intercourse with consent between someone age 19 or older and someone between age 12 and 17."

However, some reports say Casey is 19, some reports say he is 18.

If Casey were tried and found guilty, he could face a maximum possible term of 10 years imprisonment, possibly with hard labor.

According to Louisiana Revised Statutes 14-80 and 14-42, an individual can legally consent to sexual intercourse when he/she is 17 years of age. And in cases (such as Spears') where the victim is 15 or 16, the defendant (Aldridge) must be no more than two years older for the sexual intercourse to be legal. The law, like everything else, is different in California. But Casey could still be in trouble if the couple did the deed in the Golden State, where Spears resides while filming her Nickelodeon show "Zoey 101."

"It states clearly in the Californian Penal Code that any person who engages in an act of unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor (under 18) who is not more than three years older or three years younger than the perpetrator, is guilty of a misdemeanor and faces up to one year in a county jail," said criminal defense attorney Jim Hammer.

“But if Aldridge is actually more than three years older, he could be up for a felony, which carries a maximum three years in prison.”

According to the code, "unlawful sexual intercourse" is an act of sexual intercourse accomplished with a person who is not the spouse of the perpetrator, if the person is a minor.

“Police can openly investigate the case, but the biggest challenge would be to determine [in] what state the act actually took place,” Hammer said.

However, criminal defense lawyer Christopher Darden says charges are unlikely.

“The father of the child may have committed a criminal offense or misdemeanor by having unlawful sex with a minor,” said Darden. “But unless the complaint is filed from the minor’s parent, it is unlikely that this will be taken further.”

The New York Post cited Aldridge's age as 18, and Deputy Sheriff Jimmy Travis of Tangipahoa Parish, La., where the Spears family lives, told the paper that Jamie Lynn and her boyfriend didn't break any state laws if they conceived in Louisiana.

"From my preliminary investigation, she is 16 and he is 18," he said. "If, in fact, it happened in the state of Louisiana, that does not violate any criminal statutes."

He said the age of consent is 17, but that officials don't prosecute if the two are no more than 24 months apart in age.

"Sixteen and 18 is OK, 15 and 19 is not," he said.

A rep for Jamie Lynn declined to comment on the pregnancy reports, which appeared in OK! Magazine on Wednesday.

"What is in OK! is their story," said the spokeswoman. "We cannot comment on its accuracy."

Nickelodeon has confirmed that Jamie Lynn Spears is pregnant. Jamie Lynn Spears is Britney Spears’ 16-year-old sister and the star of “Zoey 101". She has a long term boyfriend, 19 year-old Casey Aldridge, who is said to be from her hometown of Kentwood, Louisiana. At the end of June, Jamie Lynn and Casey were looking at apartments together.

Nickelodeon issued this statement:

“We respect Jamie Lynn’s decision to take responsibility in this sensitive and personal situation. We know this is a very difficult time for her and her family, and our primary concern right now is for Jamie Lynn’s well being.”

Holy shocking sh*t! Here we had all eyes on Britney and now the 16 year old sister is pregnant. This may very well be a wake up call for Britney or maybe Jamie will turn out just like big sis and end up having to pay the dude's full ride.

All I can say is poor Lynn Spears...she's got her hands full.
