As projected Senator Hillary Clinton wins the Pennsylvania primary!

It's just a matter of time before the Obama campaign implodes.

Obama's religion seems to be getting in the way of his hopeful campaign.

After giving a good enough speech to turn Hillary Clinton supporters into Obama supporters over his association with Rev. Jeremiah Wright, come new reports of Obama's connection to another racially divisive public figure, Rev. James T. Meeks. He's going to have to step us his game and put action behind his charm and talent for word smithing.

Anti-gay Rev. James T. Meeks is a Illinois state senator who also serves as the pastor of Chicago’s 22,000 member strong Salem Baptist Church.

Described in a 2004 Chicago Sun Times article as someone Barack Obama regularly seeks out for “spiritual counsel”, James Meeks, who will serve as an Obama delegate at the 2008 Democratic convention in Denver, is a long-time political ally to the democratic frontrunner.

When Obama ran for the U.S. Senate in 2003, he frequently campaigned at Salem Baptist Church while Rev. Meeks appeared in television ads supporting the Illinois senator’s campaign. Later, according to the same Chicago Sun Times article, on the night after he won the Democratic primary, Sen. Obama attended bible study at Meeks’ church ‘for prayer’ and ‘to say thank you.’

Since that time, not only has Meeks himself served on Obama’s exploratory committee for the presidency and been listed on the Obama's campaign website as one of the senator’s ‘influential black supporters’, but his church choir was called on to raise their voices in praise at a rally the night Obama announced his run for the White House back in 2007.

Interestingly, the Chicago Sun Times has also reported that both Meeks and Obama share a history of substantial campaign contributions from indicted real estate magnate Tony Rezko.

The problem for Obama is that Rev. James Meeks, like Rev. Jeremiah Wright, preaches a message that appears to be directly at odds with the promise of hope, unity and bridging social, racial and political divisions upon which his campaign is built.

Over the years, Rev. Meeks has garnered significant media attention as a result of a number of racially charged remarks he's made from both behind and out in front of the pulpit. Most notably, in 2006, Meeks came under fire for an inflammatory sermon he gave in which he savaged Chicago mayor Richard Daley and others, including African-Americans who were Daley allies. Rev. Meeks was named "10 leading black religious voices in the anti-gay movement", by Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC).

The SPLC newsletter also noted that, "Meeks and the IFI are partnered with Focus on the Family, the Family Research Council and the Alliance Defense Fund, major anti-gay organizations of the Christian Right. They also are tightly allied with Americans for Truth, an Illinois group that said in a press release last year that ‘fighting AIDS without talking against homosexuality is like fighting lung cancer without talking against smoking.’"

On a more personal level, Meeks has reportedly blamed "Hollywood Jews for bringing us Brokeback Mountain" and actively campaigned to defeat SB3186, an Illinois LGBT non-discrimination bill, while serving in the Illinois state legislature alongside Obama. According to a 2006 Chicago Sun Times article, his church sponsored a "Halloween fright night" which "consigned to the flames of hell two mincing young men wearing body glitter who were supposed to be homosexuals."

We all want change, but I'm afraid that Barack's associations may lead us in a much more difficult direction.

While on a campaign stop at Butler University during her college campus campaign trail, Chelsea was asked an embarrassing question about her dad's inappropriate relations with former intern Monica Lewinsky.

Chelsea bravely informs the inquisitive student that the question is inappropriate and replies, "that is none of your business".

(CNN) — Even as Hillary Clinton's campaign attacked her rival, Barack Obama, for failing to "deliver on his promises," her husband, former President Bill Clinton said Saturday that a joint ticket pairing the two would be "almost unstoppable."

The former president referred to his wife's own comments that indicated a willingness to consider the prospect. "She said yesterday and she said the day after her big wins in Texas and Ohio and Rhode Island that she was very open to that and I think she answered explicitly 'Yes' yesterday," said Clinton during a Mississippi campaign appearance.

"I know that she has always been open to it, because she believes that if you can unite the energy and the new people that he's brought in and the people in these vast swaths of small town and rural America that she's carried overwhelmingly, if you had those two things together she thinks it'd be hard to beat."

He added that, in his view, Obama would win the "urban areas and the upscale voters" while Clinton claims "the traditional rural areas that we lost when President Reagan was president. If you put those two things together, you'd have an almost unstoppable force."

Hillary Clinton told a CBS interviewer earlier this week, shortly after she ended a string of 11 losses with wins in Texas, Ohio and Rhode Island, that a joint ticket "may be where this is headed. But of course we have to decide who is on the top of ticket. I think the people of Ohio very clearly said that it should be me."

The New York senator has made the suggestion in other interviews, as have her campaign surrogates. On Friday, Pennsylvania Gov. Ed Rendell told the National Journal that it was important for the winner of the Democratic nomination to make the offer to the runner-up this year.

The Obama team has largely avoided making similar statements.

UPDATE: In an interview with CNN affiliate KTVQ in Billings, Montana, Obama called the notion "premature," saying he has won twice as many states as Clinton and a greater share of the popular vote, and he believes he can maintain a delegate lead.

"You won't see me as a vice presidential candidate, you know, I'm running for president," said Obama.

Jack Nicolson put a montage together from many of his films that included inspirational lines in support of Hillary Clinton. It's a little bit of a stretch, but he comes in at the end of video and tells us that he "approves this message for Hillary Clinton".

Hillary was also on SNL last night as part of her campaign trail. It wasn't very good because Amy Poehler is not funny, nor does she do even a remotely close impression of Hillary Clinton, but I enjoyed seeing the spirit in the Hills. We all know Hillary doesn't have much of a personality.

Ellen Degeneres is now publicly backing Hillary Clinton. Finally, someone!

Have all the woman become so passe? This is historical. Hillary has worked hard for this position and needs more female public figures in her support.

Here is Ellen, Monday night, joining Hillary via satellite urging Texas and Ohio to vote to make a difference on March 4.

The cut-throat world of presidential politics usually doesn’t go this far to get its point across.

But Jose Ortiz, 28 — a Hillary Clinton supporter — is behind bars after stabbing his Barack Obama-supporting brother-in-law, Sean Shurelds, following a political argument, according to KYW1060.com.

“One is a supporter of Barack Obama, the other is a supporter of Hillary Clinton, and an argument of words turned bloody when one brother-in-law tried to choke the other and the victim then responded with a knife and stabbed his brother-in-law in the stomach,”
Montgomery County, Pa., District Attorney Risa Furman said, according to KYW.

Shurelds was taken to the hospital in critical condition, and police allegedly found the weapon in a dishwasher at the Collegeville home where the two brawled.
Ortiz faces felony assault charges and was being held on $20,000 bond.

KYW reports that if Ortiz is convicted of the felony charge, he won’t be able to vote.

On a side note: Voter registration records reveal that Ortiz, who supports Clinton, is registered Republican.

Tina Fey returned to Saturday Night Live this weekend and made her case for why Hillary Clinton needs to be president. She was on point!

Go Texas, Go Ohio... vote, vote, vote.

If we want change, if we want a revival in patriotism for our country that we've all begun to disdain, if we want freedom and peace.... We NEED HILLARY!

Vote Hillary Clinton! You still get your Obama on the side, but Hillary is the wise choice. The experienced choice. A level head on an iron bed.

Vote Hillary Clinton!!

Hillary was on Letterman last night campaigning. I'm behind you Hill, but it's amazing how many celebs are jumping on the Obama wagon for change. Thankfully 96% of voters say celebrity endorsements do not affect the way they vote, according to a CNN poll.

I think Obama is capable of doing a good job, but I'm not sure a country upset by war and conflict, going into recession, can afford such change, at this time.

Although the two share many of the same ideas, Hillary is older and more qualified. It would be a shame for the dems to waste such experience. It's her time.

Go Hillary! Vote Hillary!!!!

After Hillary pulls in 50% of the vote in Florida, former Sen. John Edwards is quitting the Democratic race for president, two sources inside his campaign told CNN Wednesday.

The former senator is expected to make an announcement in New Orleans at 1 p.m.

John McCain won Florida and is now headed to California Wednesday with a possible endorsement from Rudy Giuliani. After McCain and Romney's win at Florida’s Republican primary Giuliani's left with few options but to drop out. I think that good news for everyone. We certainly don't need 4-8 more years of 911 talk.

With 100 percent of precincts reporting, McCain had 36% and Romney 31%, followed by Rudy Giuliani with 15 %, Mike Huckabee with 13% and Ron Paul with 3 %, reported by FOXNews

Hillary Clinton also won the largely Democratic contest in Florida with 50%, followed by Barack Obama at 33% and John Edwards at 15%, with 100 percent of precincts reporting.

It's looking good for Hillary.

In a strategic move against Obama, the Clinton's get creative!

Hillary is using Maya Angelous to promote Hillary in a radio campaign.

Everbody knows Maya Angelous is Oprah's big gun!

The Ad:

“As a child, Hillary Clinton was taught that all God’s children are equal, so as a mother she understood that her child wasn’t safe unless all children were safe.

I know what kind of president Hillary Clinton will be because I know who she is. Hillary Clinton has always been a strong woman and a passionate protector of families. For 35 years, that’s exactly what she has been doing.

Each generation of African Americans stands on the shoulders of those who came before. Today, the challenges facing us threaten the dreams we have had for our children. We need a president with the experience and strength to meet those challenges.

I am inspired by Hillary Clinton’s commitment and courage — a daughter, a wife, a mother — my girl.”

Madonna is behind Hillary in 2008!

Well now Hillary has just as little chance as winning as Obama. Will Madonna be a better supporter than Oprah to Obama?

NewMax.com reports, the Material girl-turned-children's book author Madonna has gotten behind Hillary Clinton's presidential bid, touting Mrs. Clinton for the White House and while warning at the same time that sexism might undermine her campaign.

"Hillary Clinton should go for it, definitely," the evolving pop queen tells ContactMusic.com. "You've got to start somewhere in terms of women leading the US."

The "Like a Virgin" star complained: "In Europe and Asia and elsewhere, women have ruled over millions."

Madonna blamed sexism for blocking women from the nation's highest office, saying, "In America, men are still afraid of women. And women, I don't think, trust women. I find that amazing."

Former President and husband to presidential candidate and N.Y. senator, Hillary Clinton, addressed a crowd in Minneapolis, Minnesota at a fund raiser for his wife's campaign on Tuesday.

Clinton's 50-minute speech, which started about an hour behind schedule, was derailed briefly by several hecklers in the audience who shouted that the 2001 terrorist attacks were a fraud. Rather than ignoring them, Clinton seemed to relish a direct confrontation.

Go Hillary!!!!!
