Now McCain's clerical ally, televangelist Rev. John Hagee, has made outrageous anti-gay statements sayinging that God created Hurricane Katrina to punish New Orleans for its sins, particularly a scheduled “homosexual parade there on the Monday that Katrina came.”
Rev. Hagee stood with McCain, Feb. 27 and endorsed him over Mike Huckabee who was still in the presidential race at that time.
