Kanye's Mother Dies At 58

Kanye West's mother, Donda West died last night in Los Angeles at age 58.

Donda was a noted scholar, former chairwoman of Chicago Sate University's English department, and an active college professor for 31 years; before she began managing her son's career. She also recently published a book dedicated to her son titled "Raising Kanye: Life Lessons From the Mother of a Hip-Hop Star."

Donda had just undergone a breast augmentation and tummy tuck surgery. Sadly, she may had died from an allergic reaction to medication she was taking because of the surgery, but this is unconfirmed.
