Hollywood Couple Ties The Knot

Ellen Pompeo, 38, and fiancé Chris Ivery, 38 married on Friday at City Hall in Lower Manhattan. Her dad tells PEOPLE, "I'm very happy for her. She just didn't want a big thing."

They two met in the most unsuspecting place, the grocery store, (just like the book says to do) in 2003 and began dating six months later.

We wish them many happy years together!
