Reese Witherspoon produced Penelope, a film where Christina Ricci plays the lead, a girl with the face of a pig. How did they ever cast Ricci as a pig face? Typecasting!

Reese says it's a beautifully shot fairy-tale type film, but it looks awful. I don't ever want to see Reese Witherspoon play a badass with a couple of random braids on the side of her head again! In the 80's, a couple of random thin braids meant you're different, a little punky. In the 90's it was cutesy granola girl. Not so granola that the braid-wearer is willing to go without washing their hair for months and make dreads, just cutesy, off-kilter. Now there's no place for random thin braids in the 21st century.

This awful film comes out February 29.

Even though her latest film, "Rendition," was a flop, Reese Witherspoon is a moneymaker.

The 31-year-old Academy Award winner commands $15 million to $20 million a movie, placing her at the top of The Hollywood Reporter's annual list of the highest-paid actresses.

Angelina Jolie came in second with similar salary demands, though the animated "Beowulf" earned the 32-year-old actress far less just $8 million.

Judging by the look on her face in this picture, she cant believe it anymore than we can.
You know, you just cant put a price on that sweet hillbilly southern belle routine, On a side note I imagine Matthew McConaughey must be feeling quite underpaid and unappreciated!

After seven years with Reese Witherspoon and two children, Ryan Phillippe says it's much easier to cry, which makes him a better actor.

Us Magazine reports: Ryan Phillippe has said he was suicidal after his separation with Reese. "After the divorce, I was a physical wreck. I wanted to die,” he told the Autumn-Winter 2007-2008 of U.K. magazine Man About Town. “I was ready to kill myself. I was not taking care of myself at all. I would wake up and cry and vomit.”

“Now, it’s f---king easy," he says. "When I was younger, I didn’t have enough to cry about. But since I’ve had kids, I feel my work has become better, because my life is fuller and more complicated, and I’ve experienced so many highs and lows.”

Ryan is doing another movie called, Stop Loss with Abbie Cornish, let's see if he can keep her hands off of her this time.
