For those of you that like Beck and MGMT, you may have enjoyed their pre-show they played at Martyrs together, before their concert later that evening at Aragon in Chicago. All members were on stage from both bands (about 11 of them total), were playing scaled down versions of both originals and covers, using kazoos, standup bass, banjos, guitars and keyboards.

Kanye West can't get enough of Kanye, so I guess he thinks that we can't either, hence the need for "Flashing Lights" video number two. The first video was directed by Spike Jonze.
I hear that there is a third video on the way.
Here is Weezer's "Pork and Beans" video featuring Youtube sensations. Unfortunately Chris Crocker made it in there... barf!
This morning on GMA the backing track started before she did and she tried to catch up, but failed and she's pissed.
How cute are the Ice Cold Idiots. They are Fred, Harry & Morgan and they are just 10 and 11 years old!
Look at these miniature little rockers. If they keep it up they'll be huge by the time they are 15. This is rock n'roll old school.
Keep it up boys!

Wednesday Night was the big, annual Tree Lighting special at NBC’s Rockefeller Center, for which Ashley Tisdale, from Disney's High School Musical fame, performed. Or shall I say attempted to lip sync . The video is out of sync itself, so it's hard to see where she's physically singing into the mic, but we don't hear her voice, as she's just sort of moving her mouth to the backup singers lines.
Last time Lindsay Lohan got her wig frothed and quaffed like that, Jessica Simpson's gay-lover-hair-dude Ken Paves did it. Now she stretching out and getting that same shit done at another salon! Who is doing this to her and why? Are they just going in the back and pulling Lohan heads from a box and screwing it on, while the real Lindsay is out getting her party on?
Seriously, she looks like one of those Farah Fawcett doll's from the original Charlie's Angel's of the 70's, but Lind's is no angel. Gatecrasher reports that Lohead has-been has been seen drinking again. Her friend told Gatecrasher:
"For Lindsay, her real problem was drugs, not alcohol. In the past, it wasn't the drinking that was the problem - it was the heavy drug use. The drug use was way more intense than her party drinking. As long as she isn't doing drugs, she's okay."Lohead's rep denies it and said her so-called friend is lying.
Remember what a huge deal it was when Lindsay did her last album with "My Prerogative", no? Well then, don't worry, Page Six reports that Lohead has a contractual obligation to Universal to complete another album, tentatively titled, "Nobody's Angel", that will go completely unnoticed again.
Wow, who new identical twins could be so cool? The Canadian duo is enjoying much success on their newest album 'The Con', and deservedly so. This album is full of catchy innovative hits. They are currently on US tour, then on to Australia, so catch a show if you can. Here' their new video for "The Con".

Music is getting exciting again!!
Radiohead's new work In Rainbows, was made available today through their website, DRM-free, at the price of the fan's choosing. I've already got it and it's, so far, excellent! The signature "CPU sound" that's been prominent on Radiohead's past few albums and dominated Thom Yorke's solo work is gone. It's a total return to form.
More bands are giving away music, choosing to make their money on merchandise and concerts, foregoing the loops and shenanies of the labels promotions.
I'd love to hear what people are paying, given the option. Also, let us know what you think of it!
I'm going back in for another listen... more to come!!
