Jim Carrey and Lisa Lampanelli are teaming to produce an HBO pilot that will center around a club, similar to Mitzi Shore's famous comedy club, The Comedy Store in LA. Like many others, Jim Carrey got his start there in the 70's and 80's. According to Variety, "the central character is a Mitzi Shore type, a woman who unexpectedly becomes the owner of a comedy club and is forced to play a maternal role in the dysfunctional lives of the club's clutch of resident comics."

The pilot is already getting so much attention that we are sure to see this show come to fruition by next spring. Jim Carrey has proven to be comedy gold. It shall be interesting to see Jim's talents as producer.

Chelsea Handler is a riot and often says some funny things. Not really, but with her dead pan humor you never know what's real or just real funny.

On her Chelsea Lately show on E!, last night, she announced to Jim that Jenny was pregnant, “And by the way, Jim… Jenny wanted me to tell you that she’s pregnant.”

The rumor has done wonders for the couple's popularity status. I mean who the hell is talking about Jenny McCarthy or Jim Carrey, or the two of them together as a couple? Ew, gross! I think everyone would prefer think Jim is asexual, rather than be hooked up with some farting ex-playboy model.

Well, hopefully the statement was all in bad humor. Farting Jenny McCarthy's rep told Usmagazine.com, “She is not pregnant.”

I'd love to see Jim do something funny again, other than Jenny.
