Little Boots is a promising new act from the UK that is setting music back in it’s place. She’s innovative, clever, fun, and is creating fresh electro/disco hits. Here she puts the Tenorion to work for her and spits out a simple little song using Stylophone embellishments and her piano.

If you go check out Weezer’s website, you’ll hear “Pork and Beans” that’s streaming from their front page. The obvious first single is catchy and clearly will be a hit with the teen-something slacker skater types.

Their self-titled album, informally labeled “Red Album” is out June 24, 2008. This makes their third self-titled “Weezer” album out of six.

Fontman Rivers Cuomo tells Rolling Stone, “We put a lot of emphasis on blowing our minds with creative freakouts.”

Oh yeah!!! The B-52’s are back!

They are releasing 'Funplex', March 25th, 2008. It will be their first studio album in 16 long years and the first with the Astralwerks label.

They worked with producer Steve Osborne, New Order, Happy Mondays, Doves, and KT Tunstall to create their new album. It's said to be cutting edge and distinctive as “Rock Lobster” in 1979.

“We are thrilled to be bringing The B-52’s music to a new generation of intergalactic fans. Cindy, Fred, Kate, and Keith have made an album thatis incredibly fresh, dynamic and perhaps most importantly, quintessentially The B-52’s … instantly recognizable, instantly fun,” Astralwerks label manager Glenn Mendlinger comments.
