You'd think these two dummies with matching holding area, 4 letter names would get along just fine, but the two are said to be battling it out on the set of Tree of Life.

Tensions are running high on the set of Tree of Life. Brad Pitt, who took over Heath Ledger’s role in the adventure film after Heath’s death, is butting heads with co-star Sean Penn, 47. “They’re far from friends,” says an insider close to Brad, 44. “Sean is a bossy kind of guy, and that’s just not Brad’s style. He’s mellower. So spending time together has been a big challenge.”

Thankfully, they don’t have many scenes with each other. “A big theme in the movie is man alone in nature,” notes the insider. “It’s not really a buddy film, and that’s probably for the best.” Their personality clash isn’t the only issue. “Sean is friends with Jennifer Aniston,” says the insider. “Her short film in 2006, Room 10, starred Sean’s wife, Robin Wright Penn. They attended the premiere, cheering Jen on.”

So don’t look for the Hollywood heavyweights to be making too many personal appearances together when Tree of Life hits theaters next year. “Brad hasn’t gone out of his way to praise Sean since filming started,” says the insider, “and that speaks volumes.”

I'm sure it comes down to Angelina. She's probably sleeping with Sean and will have him covered in tattoos and adopting 10 kids in no time. Oh yeah, she's pregnant... hummm.

Petra will date anybody. Sean Penn and Petra Nemcova showed up at the Oscars last night together. What is she doing? She seems so sweet and he is a well known meanie!

They were also seen together at Elton John's Oscar Party on Sunday night and took off together to Villa and left together at 3:10 a.m.

Petra previously dated James Blunt and Bruce Willis. Robin Wright Penn is already off and dating her ex, Jason Patrick, after she and Sean separated in December .

UsWeekly is reporting that Sean Penn was seen out at a restaurant with another woman looking very nervous on Christmas, just four days before Robin filed for divorce.

Robin filed divorce papers in Marin County, California, on December 21, and Sean was spotted dining on Christmas with a “very young, very attractive” brunette at San Francisco’s Café de la Presse restaurant.

“He seemed nervous and on edge,” fellow diner Rob Seide told Usmagazine.com of the actor. “He didn’t seem very happy.”

Penn originally filed divorce papers in Marin County December 7, his attorney Mindy Ross told Us, but the petition was dismissed December 18.

On December 21, Robin Wright Penn, 41, filed her own request for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences. Penn's divorce papers listed November 30 as the date of their separation; she listed the split date as December 1.

After 11 long years Sean Penn, 47, and Robin Wright Penn, 41, are divorcing, their rep, Mara Buxbaum, confirms to PEOPLE.

Robin and Sean began dating in the early 90's and married in '96. In 1997 Sean Penn told Entertainment Weekly: "Marriage ain't easy, but it's great most of the time, I love Robin. I've always loved her."

Sean Penn is a pain in the ass, you gotta give Robin props for sticking with him for such a long time.

We hope it works out for them, as they have two children together, Hopper Jack, 14, and Dylan Frances, 16.
