Human Tree Man, 37 year old Dede, appears to be turning into a tree caused from a cut on his leg that escalated into bark-like growths all over his body.
The growths are said to be from the Human papilloma (pap-uh-LO-mah) Virus or HPV. His immune system was unable to stave off normal symptoms of the virus, which caused the growths to spread and deform.
He has recently undergone surgery to begin removal of the growths. It will be a long process, but there is hope for him. Dede is looking forward to becoming normal again with the ability to work and get married.
